How do I order, I am a new customer
Ordering is very simple and just as easy.
You can order 24/7 on our website at www.FabricDirect.com or by calling 845-679-2900 weekdays 9:30am -5:30pm.
If you wish to place an order via the website, simply browse for products by category using the top navigation bars found on all web pages. You can also simply enter search terms in the "Quick Search" box on the top left also found on all of our web pages.
Once you determine which product to purchase, you simply enter the quantity and click the "Add To Cart" button to add your selection to the shopping cart. If you want to purchase other items, simply click "continue shopping". If you're ready to place your order, click "Proceed to Checkout."
If you have created an account and logged in during this session your information will already appear. If not, simply fill out the shipping and billing required information, choose your choice of shipping, enter your credit cart (via the secure payment process) and click order now. That's it, just watch for our delivery confirmation email.
Are All Products In Stock?
We try to ensure the products listed on our site are always available for quick delivery. In the event a product is not available we will let you know when it will again be available. If a product had been discontinued, we will contact you to see if want to choose a replacement fabric.
How Can I Cancel or Change An Order?
Once you place an order, you cannot make changes on-line. You will need to contact our customer service department to make any changes or cancellations. Please note, most in stock items ship within 48 hours so it is essential to contact us quickly with any changes.
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover card.
Can I Track The Shipment Of My Order?
Yes, we email shipment confirmation when your order ships via UPS. In it, we provide you the UPS tracking number you can use on www.ups.com to track your order.
Where Is My Order?
If your order shows delivered with UPS Tracking, but you do not see your order, please check everywhere. UPS drivers do leave deliveries on your porch, garages, some times with neighbors, building managers, or we have even heard behind bushes. There attempt to hide a package left when your not home sometimes works to well.
In the event there is no tracking information or if the tracking information shows the packages has been returned to us, please contact our customer service department.
Do You Charge Sales Tax?
We are required by law to collect sales tax on to orders shipped in the state of New Jersey.
Sales Tax is not charged to orders shipping to all other states.
What Is The Delivery Schedule?
We ship most in stock orders within 48 hours.
If your fabric order is time sensitive please let us know by contacting our customer service department. You can also type your time concerns or deadlines in the comments field of the order form.
Every attempt is made to fulfill your deadline.
For domestic orders, please allow 1-7 days for UPS to deliver your package once your order leaves our New Jersey Warehouse.

Can I Track The Shipment of My Order?
FabricDirect.com sends an email shipment confirmation email as your order ships via UPS. This email contains a UPS tracking number that you can use on www.ups.com to track your order.
Will all my Products Arrive Together?
We make every attempt to ship all orders complete and at the same time. Most orders are all shipped together and all fabrics will arrive at the same time. In the event you have ordered several item of which is one or more is out of stock or is a special order item, we may choice to send part separately.
If the order is large and is shipped in more than one package, sometimes UPS delivers them separately, although infrequently. When you track your order using the UPS tracking number found in your delivery confirmation email, you can see all number associated with your order. Each Tracking number represents a package sent to you.
Tracking using the UPS website also list the estimated delivery date for each package sent.
Please note, fabric samples are sent by US mail and are sent from our customer service office, not the warehouse. Therefore if you ordered both fabric and samples they will arrive separately and most likely at different times.
FabricDirect.com offers a 30-Day Return Policy
Since FabricDirect.com offers the best fabric we could find, we confidently offer a 30-day no question asked return policy.
Just contact our friendly customer service department for an authorization number for the purchase you wish to return. Then simply return your uncut, unwashed, unaltered fabric to us within 30 days, and we will credit your credit card for the cost of fabric, that simple.
Note; 30 days is from the day you receive your purchase to the day we receive the return.
To help us better serve you, we do ask why you are returning the fabric. Be assured, this will in no way affect your credit.
Please note, it may take 7-14 days for us to inspect, and process your return.
